Completed graduation with Physics Hons in 1974.
Was awarded B. Tech degree in Radio Physics and Electronics in the year 1977.
Joined Indian Railway Services of Signal Engineers in 1978. Served in the Indian Railways in various capacities starting as Assistant Signal and Telecommunication Engineer to Chief Signal and Telecommunication Engineer till 2001 when took voluntary retirement.
During the period was involved in several important Railway Signaling and Telecommunication projects and was involved in the development and introduction of several important fail safe processor based equipments as Radio Block working, working of Axle counters on radio or optical fiber links.
Presently working in signaling industry and involved in management of design of software and hardware for Processor Based Interlocking systems.
Worked in Signal Engineering And Management positions at senior levels. Involved in Railway Signalling Engineering and Management on Indian Railways as well as on varous Railways in Australia.
Worked in positions of Assistant Signal and Telecommunication Engineer, Senior Signal and Teelecommunication Engineer, Deputy Chief Signal and Telexommunication Engineer, Chief Signal and Telecommunication Engineer on Indian Railways.
Worked in roles of Senior Signal Engineer, Project Engineer, Senior Project Manager, Training Needs Manager, Managing Director in Railway Signal Engineering Companies in India as well as in Australia.
Presently working in Australia.
